A. Study To Improve Your Grades

Paying a bit more attention in class than you did in the previous term is actually the best way to improve your grade and, of course, the right way. Don’t skip classes, and endeavor to be punctual. Always pen notes down and ensure you study those notes. Another thing is to ask the teacher questions in areas that you don’t understand; never be shy.

Remember that the classroom is a place of learning, and your aim is to learn and get those good grades. Don’t doze off in the classroom or waste useful study time playing with friends. Honestly, it won’t do you any good.

-Create private study time

Instead of wasting time hanging out with friends or playing video games, develop a better study habit and create time for private studies. Probably an hour or two after school is enough. Pick the subjects that are giving you some trouble understanding; the more you practice them, the more you become familiar with them, just like toddlers learn nursery rhymes.

Make homework fun by organizing study groups with friends and classmates so you can tackle difficult questions together.

-Get a tutor or attend extramural classes

Some topics and subjects can really be a very hard nut to crack; classroom learning might not be enough to crack them. If your parents can afford it, inform them about your need for a private tutor, or better yet, pay for extramural classes.

By doing this, you can get to hold those subjects by the neck as topics, as they can help you understand them in an easily comprehensive manner.

-Let bad grades become your motivation

Getting a few bad grades is not necessarily the end of the world. Disappointments can also help you learn the hard way so you can do better next time. The first thing you should do is trace what you think caused you to get bad grades and make amends.

Unsatisfactory grades should serve as your source of motivation to put more effort into your studies rather than get discouraged. A drop in your grades does not mean you are unintelligent or something; it simply means that you need to put in more effort.

-Don’t cheat; just do your best

Put in mind your reasons for wanting a good grade, and don’t be swayed into achieving it in the wrong way. Honestly, if you are determined and hardworking, nothing can stop you from achieving your set goal. You did be happier knowing fully well that you did. Though improving your grades can take a lot of hard work and time, it is worth it. Cheating will do you no good; abstain from it.

B. Edit Your Report Card On A Computer

-Scan and edit your report card

Visit a friend or a public library to do this to avoid getting caught. Scan your results with a scanner and upload them to the computer. The scanner converts the image to an image file. Hence, edit the grades as you please, but don’t go too extreme in awarding yourself too high grades to avoid raising your eyebrows by your parents. After editing, print it out and delete both the initial and final image files on the computer to destroy the evidence.

-Use photo editing tools to edit grades

You can use photo editing tools like Photoshop to clean up the bad grades, then use the text function to input your new grades. Make sure you place it in the right place and use the same font as the original grades. Most computer use fonts like ariel or times new roman as default fonts Try and see if its the same. In addition, the colors are important; make sure they match perfectly. Once you are done editing, save it in high quality, print it out, and delete the image files.

-Print out and scan through the copy

When you are done adjusting your grades to your satisfaction, print out a copy, scan through it, and compare it with the original result sheet to watch out for any mistakes. Ensure that it looks the same as the original and that the editing is unnoticeable.

If it is, redo it until you get it perfect. Getting your result edited perfectly might not be enough to show that it was original to your parents. The document quality matters a lot; ensure to save it in high quality before you print it out from the computer.

C. Alter your grades with a photocopier

-Choose grades you would like to change

Unless you are the intelligent type, its unrealistic to have A’s in all your subjects. If you change all to A’s, that is greed, and you are sure to get caught. To make it more believable, just change a subject or two of the bad grades rather than changing all. Altering a few bad grades to good ones creates less attention.

Also, leave two or more available grades so as to make it more convincing. Put down your actual grades on paper and reenter a few of them back to make it more convincing.

-Clean the real grades with correction fluid

Use a correction fluid to conceal your bad grades. Carefully eraze the grade letters until they are not visible again. Look through it to make sure you did it well. And do it for all the grades. Make sure every tick and stroke is cleaned, and look out for brackets, full stops, and commas to avoid them showing in the photocopy.

This method is best and advisable if your original result sheet is printed on white paper. It might not be okay for colored paper because the correction will not even look convincing at all. If your report card is on colored paper, it will require some special editing skills, like Photoshop editing, to make it convincing.

-Print out a copy of the report card

When the correction fluid is dry on the paper, photocopy your report card on a photocopy machine. The new copy will blur the spaces covered with the correction fluid and make them blend with the white paper. Hence, you will have a blank spot to input your improved grades. Run multiple copies just in case you make mistakes while filling in your new grades on the paper.

-Enter your new grades

The last step is to enter your improved grades. You need to ensure all are entered perfectly on the columns and rows. Either typed in or written, inasmuch as you write in the perfect place where the grades ought to be input, nobody else except your teacher will be able to observe a difference.

Again, your handwriting matters a lot too. Try as much as possible to imitate your teachers’ handwriting so that it doesn’t look too obvious. Imitating someone else’s handwriting can be difficult; here is what to do. Use separate handwriting that your parents or siblings do not know of, and use different ones for each subject grade to depict the difference since there are different teachers for each subject.

-Use the same ink color as your teacher

In cases where the grades are typed in instead, run another photocopy of the real report card. Hence, use a photo editor like Photoshop to input the letter of the improved grades in the appropriate space. Once you are done, print out your new copy.

Don’t forget to destroy all evidence that proves otherwise or lands you in some serious trouble. Trash other duplicates and delete the image files from your computer and photo editor.

Bottom Line

Bad grades do not necessarily mean you are unintelligent; they mean you need to study more. Changing your bad results to good ones is not only dangerous but also creates a sense of guilt that may take a long time to get past. It is best that you make use of the first method to improve your grades.

Editing it can land you in serious trouble if you are caught, and honestly, your parents will be disappointed, and your school may punish you if they find out you did. Don’t ask the question, How can I change my grades?, but rather ask and look for ways to improve them in the right way.
