1. Google GHC Scholarship In North America

2. Google GHC Scholarship In Africa
As stated earlier, Africa is one of the privileged continents to be eligible for the Google Conference Scholarship. As the eligible regions are different, so are their eligibility procedures. Let’s review what makes you eligible for the scholarship:

To be eligible for the google conference Scholarship, you must fulfil the following requirements:
- You must be a full-time student of a recognized university in Africa who is in need of conference travel funds

- You must be the sole or joint author of the accepted paper
Please note that the following people are not eligible to apply for the Google scholarships:
- Google employees
- Residents of embargoed countries
- Persons residing in countries prohibited by applicable export controls and sanctions programs

The Claim Process Of The Google GHC Scholarship
Applications for the Google Conference Scholarship for Africans are reviewed on a rolling basis, all year round; this means that eligible applicants will get a reply from Google after four [4] weeks of application. Therefore, interested candidates should apply for the grant in advance or long before the conference date. Not only to allow enough time to get a reply but also because the timeline for the completion of grant payments takes 5-8 weeks.
Once you have been approved for a travel grant, the funds will be paid to the applicant’s university and the student can claim it using regular university procedures.
3. Google GHC Scholarship In APAC [Asian Pacific]
Asian Pacific [APAC] is also one of the continents that is also eligible for the Google Conference Scholarship. To be eligible for the travel grant to attend the google ghc scholarship, you must fulfil the following requirements:
Eligibility
- You must be a full-time student at a recognized university in a country where travel grants are available and you must be in need of conference travel funds. The countries where travel grants are available will be stated as we go on.
- You must have a paper that has been accepted for full publication at a top-tier computer science conference. Please note that workshop papers will not be accepted or approved for the travel grants.
- Your paper must be accepted for full publication and, most preferably, a full oral presentation. To know if your country is eligible, please note that the following have been recently approved for the travel scholarships: CVPR, NeurIPS, ICML, CHI, AAAI, STOC, PLDI, COLT, KDD, ICCV, EMNLP, WWW, ACL and FSE.
- Your paper must also be accepted for presentation, either oral or poster, in the main conference program.
- You must be the primary author of the accepted paper.
- You must remain a full-time student when you receive the travel grant. This means that you must still be a full-time student at the time you have been approved to receive the grant.

The Claim Process
Just like the application review for Africa, applications from APAC for the Google Conference Scholarship are reviewed on a rolling basis, all year round. And the eligible applicants will receive a reply from google four [4] weeks after their application.
And as in Africa, when the travel grant has been approved, it will be paid to the university of the accepted applicants. Then the students may claim the grant using the university’s normal or regular procedures.
